EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Please 'splain why you still risk life and limb daily by living down there??
Snakes aren't dangerous.

Just remember to stay home tomorrow night if you have a Hispanic population like we have here.
We were just discussing where we're going for Cinco de Mayo.
I worked nights most of my life and always missed out on the festivities.

Tomorrow is what has me messed up! It's an excuse to eat Mexican food all day! But I thought it was Saturday.
Saturday is the sixth. Hence CINCO de Mayo.

It would be for two legged predators. My 360 that I typically carry as my CC would not be for bears, but the bear spray is effective on people to

That's what I was thinking. However bringing more than you absolutely need is an opportunity to have stuff stolen or lost.

I can barely remember it's 2017. Where has the time gone?
Youse insane, girl.
Spend a little more time on here and it will be 2018.

I need something to hold items on the front and on the side given the size of my backpack as you're not putting a fanny pack too.
A fanny pack doesn't have to mount over your fanny. My wife always carries hers in front.

^.^ ***.... except I don't let people watch my kids. I get neurotic about trusting other people. Ever since my mother in law lost my oldest a couple times at a park/disney land, and left my toddler in the car and I came out of the bathroom and was like *** ARE MY KIDS.... I don't trust people anymore. haha
We never had any one watch our kids, except rarely her mom. Every time my shift changed (3 times a year) my wife would go get another job so someone could always be home with the kids.
We never used a baby sitter often enough to keep one.

I have to put my bear spray, knife, water, and other items on something to give me quick or easy access.

How about a web belt. You can put attach a canteen, sheath and a spray carrier on it.

Last time I went off into the mountains I used carabiner clips to clip a couple things to the shoulder straps and chest strap of my pack. Knife was on my belt and water was either in a camelbak or in a water bottle on the side of the pack.
I figured I would clip the water to the pack, but I'm having trouble being comfortable with the bear spray in the night if especially since I don't generally wear a belt. I guess maybe I should except a lot of my pants don't have belt loops

You've got that right. I need a 12-step program to get myself off of BYC.

Like CC suggested, perhaps something like a web belt would fit the bill.

I'm still a fan of the neck lanyard system. Web belt could work also as ChickenCanoe mentioned. Depending on the style pants a web belt might not fit through the loops anyway. Belts don't have to be used only for holding pants up though. Most of the Security on base here wear double belts. One thats required as part of the uniform and a secondary tactical belt that carry's gear. I suspect most LE have similar setups but not as familiar with them. The big thing is going to be finding something that works for you and you are comfortable with.

I am trying to decide a couple of things for my trip. First, does anyone know of some type of belt or strap I can use to hang things around my waist or across the front with or without a backpack? There are so many things to carry several of which need to be within easy/quick reach.

Second given that I will have bear spray, a stun flashlight, a straight knife, etc., within reach, and my studies in martial arts do you think I should take my concealed carry or skip it, and the airline hassle? @jwlpoultry
If you'll be on federal land, your pistol would likely be confiscated, and you don't even want the hassle of trying to get it back; not worth it. The guides should be armed.

Tomorrow is the matriculation exam in biology, and my oldest will have to take it. 3 weeks I am telling him that he HAVE sest and learn with me a very important subject in genetic (20% of the exam )subject that I KNOW that he doesn't know very well. More then 5 time I have asked from him to seat with me but he always avoided, "I am learning "I will learn with friends " and all this B.S!
This morning I asked him again to seat with me but he preferred to learn with his friends, but his LORDSHIP finally agreed to seet with me this evening, when we set I understood that he doesn't remember even THE BASIC TERMS!! And he with his impertinence said "OK lets learn " he really thinks that we can cover subject that needs 3 days in a few hours!! I exploded and tell him that I can't help him, and he should go to his friends to learn! ST......,!!!

What a stupid age! He really think that they know everything!
But he just forgot the fact that the things that I have forgotten he didn't learn yet!
