EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I chuck them in the woods.

Thank you.
He was four weeks old, I believe. He didn't die immediately after I checked his crop, but it probably helped kill him. When I saw that he was vomiting liquid, I lifted his head up and he started breathing easier after that... Was that the right thing to do?
I'm keeping a very close eye on the others.
I doubt that handling or touching his crop had any part in his death... When their organs shut down, the crop doesn't empty and the are way more likely to vomit even when handles gently. Vomiting is sometimes one of the things they do right before they die.

Thanks. It was hard to get pictures whilst still keeping the camera clean, but I got a few... They're on the other thread, if you didn't see them.
I just saw them... I don't really know much about chicken insides but I do know that looking for those pics while eating was a bad idea... :sick I just wish I had thought of it before.

That bad? :p

This went a lot better than the last time I tried to do a necropsy. No stench.
