EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

If it's actively bleeding, of course it isn't dead. But they can't sustain bleeding for long before they do die, and that was posted an hour ago. IMO, the bleeding is either slowed or it's dead by now.

Of course, without pictures, we don't know if it is actually a lot or not, so it could be hoopla over nothing.
Should have looked before posting. I see the pics now.

Got not one but TWO broody scovies! :barnie

Are they breakable or should I just find eggs? Of course with two broody, the third can't lay two clutches. AND none of the 15 I ate looked fertile. Do the males take a while to figure "it" out? I see them mounting often enough, but are they ... bad.. at it or something?
How old are the males?

6-7 mos, same as females.
I was hoping Phil would jump in here, but I guess I missed him.
Only thing I can think is maybe the guys are still a bit young, but I've never had a duck, so that's strictly a guess. Abi or Bubbles should have an answer for you, I'd think.
