How do you check if a chick inside and egg is alive? It's really hard to tell with the water test...

Why??? How long has egg been incubating???

I do not understand the lack of patience here,,,, leave the eggs alone, they will either hatch or they won't....monkeying with them hinders more than it helps,,,

I have yet to make an unhatched chick go swimming...
