Ok, I'm in a pickle.
I need to get the geese from the post office, they were supposed to be here, today, but were not here.

I need to call metzer farms, to see if they shipped them this week. I got an email when I made the order, but they never tell you when they actually ship them and never give you a tracking #.

I'm concerned about rescheduling my apt for the birds, that may not still be here tomorrow... but if I go, my labs are at 8am, if I left by 9am to drive back home, I could be there around 130ish to get the birds from the post office, a few hours wouldn't kill them all, right???? I'm just worried they'll be weak from being in the post office an extra day to begin with, and then a few more hours I asked the post office guy if they'd give them some water for me until I could get them, but he said he didn't think he could do that. I don't know what to do, I guess I can cancel my dr's apt and try to reschedule it for friday, but they really needed me back on thursday to make sure my levels were rising appropriately, 48 hours apart

I finally got my sawmill back together and running yesterday! I am going to take it to a friends and now try sawing an actual log with it again...

I know way off topic, but I have been working on this thing for a couple weeks on and off. So many moving pieces!

I'm jealous... wishing I had me a saw mill

Mine do this, too. Mice and frogs. Yum!!! (Also hysterical to watch.)

I'm taking today and tomorrow off to try to make some headway with not only some chicken stuff but also household stuff (so I don't feel so behind all the time). Of course, that means I need to DO stuff, but I think I'll have another cup of coffee first.

Is there anyone you can call to pick them up? Would the post office let anyone else pick them up or would they prefer they die?

Hard to believe any human cannot or would not just give them a drink of water,, of course they are webbed, I might have to rethink this all..

Im sure the post office has rules against that.... probably its because once they do something like that it gives them a certain level of liabilty

I don't know what to tell ya. If it were me, I'd keep the appt. The additional few hours would probably not be the difference even if they are in rough shape and already late, and you need to get those labs on time.

But that's just me.

I'll just have to "call" you and keep you company on the drive home if I can't stop for lunch. Doh, kids will hate me if we have to drive straight and can't stop for food.

It's such a long drive, that driving straight there and back is just so hard on my little monsters.

Metzer farms got back to me, they are 100% arriving tomorrow. I have to figure out if the mail people can help me.

Mail people refused to help - so I reschedule dr apt for friday. I do another redraw monday, so while the doctors not "happy" about an extra day between thurs/fri, they'll live because I'll do the 48 hours between fri-mond.
They'll just have to have me refill prescription for progesterone monday. I'll have to pick up a few for over the weekend on friday to tide me over, but honestly, I feel like my draws are going to be fine, and I'm far more worried about killing my geese. There's nothing the doctor can do for me if my labs aren't rising appropriately anyways... but I can prevent my geese from dying.
