I did without last year due to enough heat. I need my peppers to grow, or spend about $150 just for two recipes. Add in another $300 for tomatoes.

I lost one of my expensive shipped in HRIR Monday
How come I never loose production or general birds, but lost the best of last year's hatch, and now one if the two hens I spent good money to get shipped here? I don't know if the feeder, or the rooster got her neck or just the heat and her neck was floppy I didn't have time to check and I was too disheartened. She was dead in the run by the feeder. No signs of a struggle.
