EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Finished roofing on goat shed and got it 1/2 painted before I had to come in and feed the urchins. Just doors & windows left and I can move the chooks in, knock down the old coop, and start on the new one. I'm hoping to have it up before snow flies, or I'm gonna have a miserable time finishing it... :fl
Give the urchins hot dogs & microwave popcorn and get back to work

That's froze? :p

Yep

Oh gosh...what's goin on....guineas are freaking out. I'll be back....

My remaining guineas are nice and quiet now. :D

:celebrate I'm having a panic attack! What fun!

I was glad to see you were doing better.

True story: My grandparents had electricity, tv, telephone, but never any indoor plumbing

Most of my neighbors have indoor plumbing, but no tv, phone, or electricity in their house.

@BantyChooks
The Wyandotte eggs go into lockdown tomorrow.

Good luck! :fl

Let the trio come hang out with us in the garage last night cause they didn't like the fireworks. They played with that box forever. . and eat a few flies for us while they were out there lol

Awwwwww :love

I'm whupped! Ever try to move a 4wheeler by yourself that won't run? I don't recommend it, 'specially if there's an upward grade involved. Finally got 'er done, with the help of a chain hoist to pull & DW to steer. It's now on the trailer, headed to the shop tomorrow.

Used it to go after firewood before we went to WI, & it quit on the way back to the house. Just flat-out quit, like I'd pulled the key & both plugs instantaneously. No sputtering, no choking out, no nothing; just dead. Ain't hit a lick since.

Battery's fully charged. I suspect a switch, but it's $90+ for the replacement; more than I want to spend on the chance that's the problem.

Didn't you have an ongoing lawnmower issue last year?

Some one of your age needs to be careful doing all this manual labor.

But you're in the midst of Ohio Amish country; they were slam in the middle of the Illinois corn/soybean belt...no Amish around that I know of.

I did, indeed. My equipment is like its owner; seen a lot of better days, although this is the first problem I've had with the 4wheeler, other than batteries.

I gave them popcorn and tuna.... And no way. I'm whupped. I'll finish the paint job next morning before the crazies awake.
