Halfway? Halfway what? Humidity is determined by surface area, not depth.

You have to monitor air cells and adjust for that. I suggest reading some of the links and articles in post one, specifically Hatching Eggs 101. It will help you learn something about incubation. It's an art, not a science, but there's still tremendous help in books about art.

That has no impact on humidity. Just surface area.

Oh wow! I didn't know that! Also, IF I made one with a cooler, Would I have to leave the lid on? Because my heat lamp would have to hang above it because I have to attach it a certain way that wouldn't fit if I cut a hole

Heat lamp? What are you talking about? I think you should go read the cooler Bator instructions. Yes, you need a lid.

Not really a heat lamp in the traditional sense of the word. Most use 45ish watt lightbulbs, not 250 watt heat lamps.
