Only cure I know of for that is to outlive them all. Even moving doesn't help; they just follow you. I done already tried one, and working on the other.

Moving does help if you're a southerner and go 1,000 kilometres north... They usually freeze and fall over solid at the border. If you blast the heating you might be able to avoid that same fate.
