I've learned to tune roosters out pretty good.

I kinda like hearing them; gives the place more of an "out on the farm" atmosphere. Trouble is, DW is a late riser, & she can hear him, too.

It was a challenge for me to get a tiny fire started that would actually last long enough to let her cook her supper. I was determined to let her do it though. I come from a large family, and even my parents were patient enough to let us near the campfire. I'm teaching her to respect the fire. Simply screaming to stay away.... You guys aren't idiots. You know what I'm getting at.

I like them too, except when the wait for me to go into the coop to really let out a good crow.

it did but I survived, I did about to miles in heavy underbrush

Only a hotdog. She forgot about marshmallows after having to run inside to potty.
I am insanely afraid of worms, but I want to sleep out in the tent with her this month. I just hope that the worms stay away from us!
I have a firepit behind the garage I can put a skillet over for cooking eggs.
