I've had arthritis in my right hand since I was a child. It's in both hands now, but the right side is going to be the death of me.
I thought I broke a finger last week when I went to make a fist, and the finger was locked.

I'm not totally ignorant of what you're going through; the first two fingers on my right hand, the one most effected by shingles, lock up all the time. I frequently have to pick up a glass with both hands.
