My last set was 9 eggs, 6 silver laced Barnevelders 3 lavander Orphingtons.
3 eggs was clear so get out, I had 6 chicks hatch, 4 SLB an 2 LO.
1 of the SLB had problems and died 4 days after its asisted hatching,
The 2 Orphingtons are cockerel!
3 SLB are driving me crazy, once they all looks like pullet, and now they all seems like cockerel! They are 7 weeks and they drive me crazy!

You want to here somthing weird? Another 7(9 out 9!) eggs that hatched from the same LO parents came out cockerels! This lousy Rooster have a problem with his sperm!

You're going to hate me but I almost always get more females than males. I "think" out of the 10 EEs I hatched...it looks like 2 are roosters. My OEGB are usually even.

I'll admit I'm not as good with the straight combed varieties. I usually think they're males and they end up females.

SLB #2 legs look like a pullets legs.

I hate those finger prick thingies they have now that plunge the needle in. Makes the finger tip sore for days! I'd almost rather have a shot.

Fire Ant Farm said hello! She is trying to keep on top of stuff, has been trying to get her migraines under control, and she said she lost one NN to the heat, but the others have done well so she is pleased. She will be back, but doesn't want to get sucked in right now. She has too much going on plus the headaches.

I am okay with shots. It is IVs that reduce me to quivering wrecks.

Apparently I'm ok with IVs, shots not so much.

Mostly just been re-arranging my house, and trying to motivate my teenager with an xbox... but it hasn't worked yet.
