Some guy came into my barn one day and when I questioned him he said he was here on business...

I asked what business and he said to make me a great offer on farm insurance....

He left rapidly with me speaking French to him the whole way out of the yard. I think he figured he would not be selling me any insurance.

He probably didn't do business with French Canadians. Try English next time. "Leave or I am feeding you to the dogs" would be a nice clear way of communicating your intent.

When I worked at the barn...someone forgot to lock the door that faces the road and repairmen walked right into the barn...protocol required showering in, clean unexposed clothes on the barn side...disinfecting the tools....

I have my drive blocked. no one can come up it without driving on the lawn or moving the barricade....

You need a 10000 volt electric gate. Then they can't touch it to move it...lol.

I don't have shower in and out. but I have my outdoor shoes and shoes I wear only off the property. The feed store want to deliver me feed but I refuse them. I prefer to do it my way instead of having their people that see 50 farms a week drop in.

I can carry a weeks worth of feed on my old truck so why not...It is a chance to get to town....
