No, just young people!

I felt that I have arrived to another planet!
I didn't visit this are of Tel aviv more then 25 years, and the changes are beyond my grasp!

IMHO young people of this times are different people completely from us, we where different of our parents BUT we were a more "modern " version of them, of their values ect. But now they are different game completely.
But only with some of the younger generation. My son and his friends have very eclectic tastes. My son bought a 1955 car. His friends are similar...lol. Of all the students I've transported around...I've found them to be very decent and respectful.

Most of the younger generations I know don't appreciate the disrespect other young people have.

Don't know if you'd consider me part of that "young generation" (born in '92 here) but I can agree with both statements. There's a large group of people that would fall under "millennial" status who certainly act the way Benni describes. However, like Wickedchicken mentions people like my friends and I were raised to be respectful to our elders and aren't afraid of a hard day's work or having families. Most of us are married or in a long-term relationship with kids on the way, and nearly all of us are either college educated or trained in skilled work. I think it really depends on where you go; I find that the type Benni describes tend to congregate in the large cities and metropolitan centers, whereas the rest of us in the smaller towns and rural areas are more like Wicked describes.

Sounds risky. I have those ground yellow jacket nests out at the lake cottage. My neighbor found the one whole when cutting the grass, I found the second by being close to it and getting stung on the calf. It started out as a little round red spot, by the next day mid calf to down around the ankle is swollen. Hopefully I'll make it out there today and take care of any remaining little b*stards.

I didn't realize you were still on! Sorry Mike.:hugs

It's ok, I just woke up my computer and hadn't logged off so sat there for a bit.

I had today and Anthropological experience!
We where invited to a Bar mitzva ceremony of good freinds in Tel aviv. Tel aviv is our biggest and most knowen city, after Jerusalem. It is like a miniature NY, or LA. Me and my DW, and 2 DD, had to go in Rotchiled Avenue to reach the synagogue. And there was all this ragged young (and not so young! ) people seating there, with their weard looking hear cuts, smoking how know what , staring at us, a couple well dressed with 2 daughters well dressed too, going buy, with some surprised looks.
I felt that we were looking very strange to them! I think that the concept of family of a woman and a man that have their own kids and living together in a family frame is very alien to them!

Your cities are awful too?

Thanks!
