EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Is that like how this new air conditioner is also a heater? I haven't got the darn thing hooked up yet.
I haven't figure out what he meant yet.

We have an air conditioner and a heater in our house....I think I may have run the heater twice last year and only for a few minutes to take the chill out in the morning...max run time was probably 5 minutes.

You refer to AC as a concept for cooling.
I said that if AC is a prove that you have a concept about cooling, so do I as a southerner have a HEATING concept because we use AC AS A HEATER when it's needed. ( by DW ofcors in ouer winter AKA 10 C° -pluse that is! )
You mean one of those combo heaters? Yeah, those aren't very efficient, but I guess they'd work there.

Not even my second. ....
Pretty impressive. How many do you know?

I did my first hatch on shipped eggs. I am a little confused about the air cell poistion. I have a styrofoam incubator with egg turner. The eggs were shipped pointy end down. I let them rest for a day pointy end down. I put them in the turner pointy end down. I candled a few times. 6 of the 17 eggs looked to be devolping correctly on day 10. The air cells in all the eggs were at the bottom in the pointy end. Is that the correct poistion? Everything I can find says it should have been in the fat end.
I had 1 chick hatch and 1 die after zipping the wrong end.
Below is a picture at day 4 or 5.

Thanks for the help. Trying to learn for next time.

Chill.. Would that be the thing you encounter on a brisk 70*F day? :p

Odd. Are you absolutely certain you were seeing the air cell? Did you candle from the top?
