You generally let winter wheat go this long? Around here it usually comes off in time to put corn or beans in.

We can only grow one crop per year. We got ours off before most around here...lol.
I'm assuming it might be a different variety more suited to our conditions? Possibly involving a slightly longer growing season. You guys also warm up much earlier than we do...that might also have something to do with it.

Mine's Chatty Kathy; won't shut up and always interrupting. She ain't from around here. Gives me weird local routes. Says I'm home when I'm still 5-6 houses away.

Yes you can cool and heat with it.

We have an air conditioner and a heater in our house....I think I may have run the heater twice last year and only for a few minutes to take the chill out in the morning...max run time was probably 5 minutes.

Don't know what kind of AC you have, but ouers do the BOTH! Cooling AND heating. You just have to choose the function! That what happens when YOU HAVE A CONCEPT ABOUT AIR CONDITIONING!

You mean one of those combo heaters? Yeah, those aren't very efficient, but I guess they'd work there.

Only in the north pole the ONLY direction is down South!
So if you aren't in the NP there will be ALWAYS a place upper of yours!
