If I was you they would not survive the night!
I think that to much inbreeding mixed-up their brains! I
They are late tonight, it's 2:20...a few of the ones in the pens behind me flapped and a few have crowed...lol. It isn't constant...for some reason they always let out a few crows at this time of the night. I rather like it...I find it comforting. :love
I can even tell which one just crowed by his pitch.
(Maybe they hear me, and I'm keeping them up!)

I never hear roosters until about 8. Maybe I'm so used to it that I've tuned it out.

I only have three of the age to crow... So they're pretty quiet. Neighbour's boys are barely noticeable.

Finally done for the day. 3 more hens going broody. Guess no one told them that when the incubator goes over 100 things get dicey as far as hatch rate.

You going to let them sit?

Which farm? This farm? I guess that should have been acres...because acres is the equivalent of hectares.:th

The measurements of how many ounces make a pint in both imperial/american makes so much more sense to me now. "Now"I get it. Thank you!!! :hugs
