EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

:wootGot done this field done last night. It's hard red spring...really nice looking grain...I hope it has good protein.:fl (I might have to sneak some for the chickies)
We're moving into another field today; same grain, same variety.

Good to see the field done.
SO much nicer than housework that never "stays done." :lau

Wicked, I know that I am very un experience farmer BUT I am a good biologist (so they say :D) And I know that proteins are made from amino acids and A.A are dependent on Nitrogen availability. What is the sorce of Nitrogen you give to your crops?

Rancher hour south of us lost 27,000 bales to fire last Thursday as of the weekend it was still burning.
Used to sell bales for my boss loading trucks as customers came. No fun.
Fire in hay is scary. That is a huge loss.
Hay is just hard work. With my barn each bale gets moved two to four times from trailer to final placement especially with a top row so every 100 bales is like three.
