I love my Marans.....:lau "Although" they are not necessarily pure.;) Maybe that makes a huge difference. :confused: It's interesting how different our experience is with them.

These ones are surprisingly tough and winter hardy. All my guys still have 99.8% of their combs no help from me...lol. :celebrate And the chick I missed last fall that survived 2-3 days without water, feed and heat is one of the biggest guys.:love
They make a lovely cross with EEs. :love (And they're very huggable) upload_2017-5-23_20-15-7#50.gif
