I do like meat...I really miss having lambchops.

We have Katahdins, so they shed...no wool.

I've only seen icelandic sheep in pictures, they look nice!
I never even thought about trying the milk from sheep, although I'm aware of sheep dairies and such. These usually twin, but I was also cognizant of multiples when picking out the breeding stock. In 2004, I had 16 sets of triplets and 4 quads. The rest were twins with a couple of singles. I think that's why I never thought about using the milk. I didn't have a barn either so i didn't really have the extra room to fit in milking and such. I did have a few that were really nice to milk though...and produced a lot. I saved colostrum to have on hand "in case."
