Morning Mike we are actually colder than you today. 49 to start going to 79. We have had snow in the mountains.

2 of the 9 chicks left to fend for themselves with the broody in a mixed bunch of birds are still going. Not a predator safe area either.

Staggered hatch is progressing 6 chicks from the retrieved 15 eggs have hatched. Still have two broodies watching too many eggs as the hens keep piling them on and kicking them out. I retrieve the kicked out ones when I come home at night. They are usually cold when I pick them up. No room to separate hens so it is what is is.
