airsoft gun, can get tehm at walmart super cheap and the pellet things too

The newer, more powerful pellet rifles will do the job with far less noise. Some are even used for pigeons & squirrels

we dispatch rodents with a crossman pump pellet rifle. 22's have a mile range. kinda dangerous.

I didn't. I made two; one inside & one outside. I never caught a thing in either of them, but a coon kept licking all the peanut butter off the outside one.

2" of water at the bottom with a little piece of wood with peanut butter on it

Only if you make shots you shouldn't. Sweet little guns, but shooting them when the background isn't safe ain't the greatest idea.
