Only if you make shots you shouldn't. Sweet little guns, but shooting them when the background isn't safe ain't the greatest idea.
also you don't need to swab out and clean a pellet gun.. a drop of oil here and there and you are good to go
 
no picture but take a taller trash can like this:

but put a few inches of water in the bottom, take a scrap of wood and smear peanut butter all over it, float the wood in the water, leave the trash can near counter or whatever so they can get onto it then they jump in and forget how to swim, you want the can tall enought that they cant climb out

same concept as the 5g bucket but different

we used it at our camp all the time, caught a ton of mice

we dispatch rodents with a crossman pump pellet rifle. 22's have a mile range. kinda dangerous.

Yes they are. Super careful to only shoot into compost pile. And won't shoot when neighbors are home. Too risky. Thinking of rat traps for the squirrels near their holes. Attached to log or plywood
