I would never give a chicken a bath if the weather was only 60 outside.ok sooo michigan has gotten a heat wave this past week (being 50's and 60's) and then BAM! heat! and I dont know if this is just my chicken not likeing heat but my GLW is breathing through her mouth and doing sort of a panting thing and going- "ahhhhhh...ahhhhh...". Is she just trying to cool off? I gave her a colder-ish bath a minute ago and it seemed to help. I just need some advice here![]()
it WAS 50-60* but for the past three days it had been 90-95

So true, so truealso you don't need to swab out and clean a pellet gun.. a drop of oil here and there and you are good to go
itattbssiATTGTW= About time to get to work.![]()
I started work at 3:52 this morning, and just got off rounding my week out at just over 66 hours after getting off early one day for a doctor's appointment. Can I say I am so tired too? If I go to bed or the porch swing for a nap will someone tease and breed goats, work on the barn, clean the coop dealing with the rodents, feed and water the animals, stop for a few minutes to pet everyone, work on laundry, make dinner, and try to fit in a ride? Oh, and unload the truck that is needed for the church service project tomorrow? That's all that's left today I think, it is a weekend after all for resting. This was time stamped 4:29am. No wonder you're tired. Go back to bed!!!![]()
