We might have a few bad apples, BUT so far none of the "cases" BLM has protested has been one of them...

BTW if our country is so bad, why doesn't your country step up to the plate and take in 10,000 or so refugees from Iraq or Syria?

Before IRMA, my mom upgraded her oven/stove top and gave us her old one. BUT her old one was fancier than ours. It had a glass induction top and convection fan in the oven. So we swapped out our basic model and stuck her artsy fartsy hollywood model in. We tried to sell our old one on Craigslist but not one person called. So we stuck it in the barn and wrapped a tarp over it.
Then Mom's oven pooped out! It went into auto self-cleaning mode and won't shut off. That day it happened, it had a few oily cookie sheets in it and when I came back into the house it was smokey and I thought the house was on fire! I was running around sniffing the toaster/refer/dishwasher/tv.. everything with a plug. Got to the stove and BINGO! No indicator lights on and the switches all were turned off. The pans were scorching!
Something in the control shorted so I flipped off the the breaker in the box. We put our old plain one back in that night.
Our plain jane one always had a problem with the light staying on and heating up the kitchen when in use. That's why we stuck mommy's artsy fartsy oven in.
We ordered a new gasket from Sears and now it closes all the way. Light turns off and less heat in the kitchen while baking.
Stuck the artsy fartsy one by the road with a sign saying FREE NEEDS WORK, next morning it was gone.
The new gasket was half the thickness as the old one. I assume it expanded while deteriorating.
it was always on my honey-do list anyway.
