What is a grocery list?

A list of the only items you need to buy at the grocery store that trip. Nothing not on the list should be in the cart when you are done shopping. The receipt and list should match.

Oh...I have seen these lists on the floor and left in baskets before.

I have done that! I try to keep my list on my phone and text myself with it...lol.

If only you could shop like me..with no list.

Then we'd waste a lot of time and buy junk food.

We don't get to just run to the store when we're outa something. Too far away.

Here either...it's an artform to work it into a trip involving other things..lol.

No, the list is put on the fridge as it also contains the menu for the next few days.

Some say that. Personally, I haven't seen any evidence to its truth. I do know that it isn't absolutely necessary to keep turning after then.

Turning isn't set in stone. Some don't turn at all. They get bad hatch rates but there are still survivors.

Hey...I've actually got very decent hatch rates when I don't turn. It wasn't double blind tests but to me it didn't make anywhere as much of a difference as I assumed/had read. Old eggs (4+ weeks) have a fair rate of die off.

When in doubt, do what a broody hen would do....they don't stop rolling eggs on day 14

I need to get a cam...I rarely ever see my hens turning eggs. That's when I'm in there working all day. Maybe they're shy chickens.

I do my bargain shopping at home by compiling flyers and coupons. Then I go to the store and get everything quickly.

I do that too. But being fast can never happen because that's when you run into someone and they start talking to you. That's a guarantee.

Put a mark on the eggs and see if they move them, or roll them.
