:,( I’m going to give it a bit this one is a fighter! I’ve put a bandaid across the hip to hold in place. And giving one tiny drop of children’s pain relief. She is eating and drinking.. albeit I give her the water. She is lively, so here’s to a small thread of hope!

I only sell the leftover bucklings that won't make breeding stock at auction except for the odd late kid.

I am sure your market price is higher than ours.. we live an area where EVERYTHING is rock bottom.. One of the reason the North Population retires in the south.

It is a lot easier culling something for food than a tiny young one for sure. Had a pullet with a rye neck defect last month/ I tried. lord I tried. anyway.. I felt what you are feeling. It is a difficult call to make.

That is not good. I try to give mine time, but at some point little bucklings have to go. I am glad I held the spotted boy though. I got shafted on the two I took to the sale. They went for $2.00 a pound which was average tonight. Absolutely awful.
