EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

A truer statement has never been said!

Let the people that like to live in cities stay there, they just shouldn't be able to pass laws the effect the rest of us.

It seems to be a inbred characteristic of city people thinking they should tell us country people what we should do and cannot do.
:lau...I should've read ahead to read this. I couldn't agree more.
This would've saved me typing so many words!
Why didn't you post this earlier, Ralphie? :th

YES!!!

3)Yes, but the human population would not likely want to enjoy the difficulties that come with a more secluded life.
4)The farms wouldn't be so secluded because the land would be divided in smaller allotments...like it used to be. There are banks and credit unions in small towns. There are hospitals and doctors in small towns here. There used to be more services in the time of my grandparents in the country than there are now. They flew my Dh's grandmother to the nearest town (45min away by car) when she was having her twins. I bet it didn't cost them $12 grand to do that either. There was more community spirit and helping people out in the country than the city people can imagine. Everything is done by internet...why can't people business be done in such a matter. Everyone wants to concentrate in the cities where you have all the over crowding...the waste management issues...the water issues.
You forgot crime (a product of so many people "living" in such close proximity) & air pollution brought on by wall-to-wall vehicles.

Um, it is the weekend!

Hey, how have you been? :frow

Better get to hatching!

Of course you're the good kind of special.
I plan on incubating a few eggs ASAP. Bantam Am is 22-weeks. I'm thinking Christmas chicks.
If Heather ever visits again, I can incubate Silver Pencil Rocks six weeks later. I need to be 100% that the chicks are pure.
I'm happy in the city or the country. I don't want the city or government interfering in my country life though.
I'm not sure I believe you, Mr. "Mikey Likes It!"

And the government. Which consists of city people.

I lived in Cleveland for a while, hated it, hated working there too.

I wouldn't suggest it.
I already had a nice conversation with him this morning. He seems receptive.
I'll talk longer when I go back out...see what happens then. :p

I'd rather have skunks the 'yotes, I guess.

I'll stick with my first answer, and those other things you mentioned have nothing what so ever to do with it, or the quiet.
Lol...thought as much. :p (Most of my friends ARE guys)
I will have to try and reproduce this masterpiece then. It is way harder to make than it looks...

:lau...maybe remember to put something down first on the table this time.
Maybe new judges will be used and they'll appreciate the brilliance of your art.

Yes, indeed. Thank you too! :hugs
