Head on over to home depot and take a look at it.
I think it is Beer can that uses them. He has big old naked necks I think too.
I got a bit close to the head on one and cut through the skull. They will work fine on the Australorp

I did a quick candle today (day 5) I was not expecting what I saw. Out of the 31 I set there were two clears and 29 with good development.![]()

usually fertility is in the 50-60% range.
So I get that a good hatch rate is 50%. But I’m a long ways off from hatching. I was surprised that 12 of 34 were not fertile in the first place. Other than the infertile ones I’ve only lost 3 so far. One had a crack & I tossed it. One had a free floating airsac and on day 7 a blood ring. And another blood ring today on an embryo.
