My cats seem to accept the chickens and chicks as part of the landscape, I have never seen them attempt to kill one. I would never trust them with small chicks, but the smaller pullets and hens are never bothered by the cats. The cats will lay right in the middle of the flock and the flock just wanders around them.
My chihuahuas are terrified of the baby chicks! But the play very nice with my big chickens well bantams..

1. how old where you when your goose chased you?

2. Why did your goose chase you?

3. Why didn't you hug it. I find geese lose interest quickly when they realize you hug them if they get close to you. My geese only come close for food, then give us a wide berth in space. They do not like being hugged. Toddlers hug them, even our dogs will hug them. They've learned that hugging is not something they enjoy.
I just started visiting the neighborhood pond.
There are wild ducks and a couple of geese there.
The silly goose has not attacked me but did sort of charge at me...I ran!
I know now that I should not have ran but I did.
The next day I went back and had a good talk with him and he left me alone.

I do wish I could have one of my own though.
Soon...hopefully.

So no I do not really have dux and geese but I have officially claimed these wild ponders as my own.
