Alright so clearly I'm just a nervous Nelly but I went to bed and woke up to check on the hatching. One of the eggs is 3/4 of the way unzipped. But I've only seen it move once in the last 10 minutes. Is it okay for them to stop mid zip?

HI GUYS PLEASE I NEED HELP I HATCHED TWO BRAHMA CHICKENS TWO WEEKS AGO ONE GOLD COLOR AND ONE BLACK BUT THE BLACK HAS ITS WINGS AND TAIL ALMOST FULLY FEATHER WHILST THE GOLD HAS A LITTLE FEATHERING ON THE WINGS ,ITS TWO WEEKS NOW BUT STILL ITS THE SAME.PLEASE I NEED ADVICE .

I'm not certain what the question is. I don't think there is a way to force a chick to feather quicker.

I spent another night freezing, then woke up, and turned on the heat. Duckling is coming, and I can't make her suffer because I'm trying to conserve heating oil.
Ohhhhh! It's so warmmmmmm!
