Craigslist is killing me today.. Ready to hand it back to DH..
I guy just tried to bully me over the phone saying HE PAYS $5 for roos & $10 for hens. Demanding me to sell him my males at that price. Raising his voice on the price and repeatingly asking for my address so he could come pick them up and how many males there was.
I told him I will call the Sheriff Office if he calls back.
I am switching the Ads back to DH # tonight. I had enough of craigslist crap.

Ya'll were talking about weather a while back, yeah, I'm behind again...healing up .. I hope. Doc says I am...mri on shoulder next week.. Anyway, Utah weather...cold, warm, cold, warm...like yesterday was 74 degrees, today down to 63 degrees. Will be in the 50's tomorrow, and then? In the 70's for a full 5 days at least! We're used to it. We know how the spring and fall are, the ups and downs. Wish it had been that way during the summer...and nice looong hot..hot..summer. Not nice though. Higher temps than usual. Man, it was way too hot. I'm enjoying Oct.
Hey motor..I had to take a closer look at your avvy..lol..thought it was a lollipop at first. Then, I see that it's a cool pumkin..did you do that?

2nd question isn't that bad when you think about it. Do you know the actual measurements of a queen size mattress?
I sure don't, but I may be dumber than most.

same here... I have a lady who calls almost every other day asking the same question.

EXAMPLE AD:
2 Barred Rocks. Both hens. 2 months old.
$10 each.
EXAMPLE CALLER:
"How many R.I. Reds laying eggs do you have for sale?"

Same with the pig ads..

EXAMPLE AD:
4 Berkshire piglets. 5 weeks old. Just weened.
2 barrows, 2 gilts.
$125 each/firm
ONLY 4 PIGS LEFT.

EXAMPLE CALLER:
"How much are the boars?"

Or they lie and say I sold their relative one for half that price..
I only took over because my hubby was snapping at the callers.. I was polite when I first took over but now I am tired of SOME of the callers.
No one reads the entire ad.
No one takes notes of who the called.
If you say CALL.. NO TEXTING.. you get a hundred texts.

It is off topic but it shocked me. I have heard of silly string being dangerous around candles.. What was he putting on that little girl's head? whip topping? shaving cream?

What's funny is that I read this article yesterday. Then this morning DH read it and laughed as he said, "Yes, It's all the CHICKENS' fault when people get sick." Of course today, two concerned people have already forwarded this very important article to me. UGH!
