I deleted last post. I included a 1/2 ball valve picture accidentally. I’m blaming the small phone key pad.

Anyways the picture is of a Altsteriers rooster from staggered broody hatch. 14 chicks total. About 6 weeks old.

I will have to go search for one of my llamas tonight. He did not come up with the goats last night, and my quick search didn't find him. I hope it was just because it was dark when I got home and with the cold and drizzle he was just kushing somewhere in the trees at the back. I will have to start keeping everyone up with rifle season starting. Too many people shoot without properly identifying their target, and shoot without accounting for how far a bullet will travel. I like his colors. I have too many males from my groups lately.

I hope I find him ok too. I don't want anything to have happened, and I can't afford to replace him right now.

The vet won't give me arthritis pills for the pup. The otc ones are for large dogs, and I've been warned that halving them isn't safe.
Meanwhile, Sturgis keeps falling, and smacking his head on the steps outside. If I go to Ohio to see Mike my mother for the holidays, I can't walk him around the block. It's mostly in the winter that he's in pain. Poor dog.

I give glucosamine pills to havyn

@MotorcycleChick I don't know how it would work for dogs, but my vet had me crush up aspirin and give it to my horse when he was so sick.

No, I did not find him last night. I leave for work in the dark and come home in the dark. Tonight I will have to spend time searching in the woods with the big light. It was cold, dark, damp and drizzling last night and I just gave up. He has not wanted to come in several times lately and I've had to go around him up. I am hoping that he was just out laying down and I didn't see him rather than him being injured or shot.

I hate to admit I was kind of pissed off at him so I gave up. He was not up this morning so I will definitely have to go look.
