I disagree. Like I told my students. If you are trying to figure something out or understand something and have a specific point of what you do know and where you want to go, then the question is not stupid. On the other hand, if you ask me what we're doing at 2:30 in the afternoon and we do the same thing everyday at 2:30 in the afternoon that's a stupid question. After the first week you're going to get a smart remark for me like gee, I don't know, what do we always do at 2:30 in the afternoon.There are no dumb questions!
After all in the real world your boss is only going to tell you something a couple of times.
