Thanks but it is what it is. I have a soft spot for the dogs and goats. Chickens are a dime a dozen. I really don't build much of a bond with the birds. Or the feeder pigs for that matter. Sounds silly. He was a pet more than property..

Your feed store sells live chicks?
Here it's only ordered chicks.

If you lived in say...Saskatchewan, I wooda bought them from you.
If I had a place to put them.

I don't know one way or the other. I took the warning on a cautionary note when I bought antibacterial ointment. We're all adults and it doesn't matter either way. I'd rather know if I've got pain in case something's going wrong...so not having lidocaine is probably preferred anyway.

I just did that! Am still doing that actually! Meh...new pets.
