EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Yeah, now that you mention it, it does look like the same one, but bigger/older.

This is one of two things... really..

The buck has rabies and you should not approach him or

You smell like a doe in heat....In which case approach him at will....but don't be surprised by what happens next....

Whatever you do....Do not turn your back on him...if you are going to try and escape the inevitable from the Rabies or your odor, back away from him! Get inside something and call 911...

Also turn your phone video cam on....I really want to hear and see how the responding officer react to you when you tell them all this....

Remember, I am your friend, looking out for your safety at all times....

They are semi tame here as well. Although if you’re going to get a picture like that the camera has to be ready. The shot with the deer and his tongue out actually had two bucks same size and in the next shot he was gone.

What’s a good camera to get for pictures I’m tired of iPhone shots. Do any of old film lenses exchange with the new cameras?

Well, mine was with my iPhone. They do often run, but this time of year, the boys are more aggressive/brave and will just stand there and stare at you (like, "Take the picture already"). I had tons of time to get my phone out, unlock it, check the settings, etc... My preference with these encounters is to be in my car - I don't trust them when I'm on foot this time of year.

Oh, Ralphie! Guess what movie I watched repeatedly Saturday night while writing Christmas cards? :D

Poison Control sent me a “gift” and a message. Behave yourselves, or watch what you drink!

(After drinking my poison, the original message was forgotten. I’m paraphrasing)

Flying out in less than 13 hours. Bags are packed, laundry is nearly done, just need to put Husband's ecigarette into his liquids bag and put our toothbrushes in the carry-ons and we're done. It's not even midnight yet, usually we're still packing until three or four in the morning so we may actually get some sleep!
Enjoy!
