is your thermometer calibrated? what kind of incubator?

The temperature was good but I struggled with the humidity the whole time. Our climate is very dry, especially this winter. I'm wondering if I should put a pip hole in the last three eggs to help them.

OMG!!!
Half of Miami is calling me the last couple days asking for a super deal bulk price on our entire stock. Wanting to pay nothing for the last 24 pigs we have.
For Dec.31st..

That would mean no compensation for care/boarding/our time-labor... Breeders feed, feeders feed, shots/health care.
Everyone calling wants us to spend all of our time and hard earned dollars so they profit on the pig shortage down south.
My line is..."Sorry.." "WE ARE NOT AN AUCTION HOUSE FOR DESPERATE FARMERS TO DUMP OFF THEIR STOCK". "Find a weable-bugged dog food feeding pig farmer if you can't afford quality pigs"..

Phone is ringing every 5 mins. (How many pigs u got...? how much for all..? will you take...?)
I need a translator and a secretary. I Turned off the ringer.. every call is going to voicemail now. Will weed them out from there later.
The last caller offered $75 for 2 -175# Gilts & 11 -fifty# Hampshires.
$75 buys barely 6 bags of grain. I go thru 4 bags a week on the 175# pigs alone..

It cost well over $75 in feed for the sow during 3.3 months of pregnancy, then raising the piglets to 50#!
I think they do it because a woman answers their calls.
This happens every year.
Time to screen out 305 area code callers..

Temp is 37.5 c, humidity fluctuates between 60 and 70 as long as I add water once a day. But I unplugged it last night thinking they were done.

Move to a state with better education opportunities!

UC Davis has one of the best vet programs in the US and There is a good Community college system here. There is one close enough to just about everyone here. The CC system has an arrangement with the UC system so you can transfer after two years. That saves a lot of money and there is a lot of student aid here. A year here gets you in state tuition.

I am not saying that CA is the place to move but look for a State with better education options. Better Education options is better for everyone!

The cheapest colleges here don't offer any kind of vet classes. Then there's Auburn. Fantastic Vet school with a price to match what they're worth. I wanted to go there when I was younger. Now I realize that they're incredibly expensive and I'd probably spend the rest of my life paying it off. I'd still love to go there, I'm just more realistic than I was as a kid or teen. Although, they have started offering online classes for some of the Vet related classes...

what area are you in? what is the ambient humidity? 60-70 the entire time or only at lockdown??

You've been watching too many late night horror movies filmed in Iceland. Besides all that, the ice is melting so fast, according to you global warming types, that it's gone before it's passenger has a chance to die. They consume so much whale blubber that they naturally float, which allows them to paddle to shore.

At last! An upside to global warming!!
