The birds pictured do not appear to have been fought. Their spurs are intact and they are not dubbed. However, dubbing is required for show, so they haven't been shown either unless they are cockerels.

I would still be highly suspicious. Barrel systems are quite typical of fighting operations.

And no one that have show birds, close to SOP, will leave them outside exposed to the elements especially in winter.( I think.....)

Do they have a winter? :p

Fighting birds are highly prized too so that wouldn't be a good indicator of value.
