You can keep it I like the snow but not the cold. Wish you could have snow in the middle of summer and skip the cold all together.

I still close the runs when I come home and do chores on the days I let them out, but I love my door openers. And I still have to deal with the horses in the cows and goat too. Mine probably wish they had doors too. The closest they have is that I pin the goats up at night.

Congratulations on the automatic doors. That needs to move up on my priority list.

I was in the AF with an OK guy who carried a scar under one eye. Seems the snow was drifted to within several inches of the top of a barbed wire fence. He must've been face down when the top wire nailed him.

Well, it is supposed to actually get above freezing for the first time in a couple of weeks tomorrow. Thankfully, my deal is actually due tomorrow and has held out though she has been dripping milk for 3 days now

They can be very mean. They also tend to sometimes leave one as an outcast oddly. I have a little Boer doe that was orphaned, and she just doesn't seem to be able to be buddies with anybody. None of the older does are going to befriend her, and the young ones stay close to thier dams. The ones in the middle stage are thier own click.
It is a shame because she is very sweet.

maybe a really good nanny goat in the making???
