EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

It was a word of mouth customer. I have no signs advertising egg sales. Some folks just can't read anything except a text message. Example: A stop sign.:hmm
p.s.
I hope the weather is being kind to ya!:)
Oh, the roller coaster weather is chugging right along; almost 60* by week's end, then back to the 20s

Yes

it was Banty.
-25 for over two weeks is more than enough winter weather for me.
According to the weather forecast, it looks like at least another week of that chit in this neighbourhood.:barnie
I think my birds had had enough one week in. I started seeing poorly written "Florida" signs stowed behind the feed bin. I think they tried to hitchhike but gave up after a few hours with no cars down the road.

Mine have just said 'enough'!
I have collected a total of six eggs in the past three weeks.
I was getting 6-8 a day before the last cold snap settled in.
cant even threaten them with 'chicken soup' like I usually do, they would all volunteer to go first, just to warm up a bit! :lau
:gig
Even my hardy Leghorns have thrown in the towel. I'm getting a PC egg or two every day/every other day but that's it.

Just skimming and saw talk on looking good as you age (whites???)

Anywho... This "lass" is aged 82 (and recently lost her 92 yr old husband).
She surfs every week. And is a looker.

82 years old!!!!!!!!

I need an outside opinion. We have about 6 flats of eggs but they are spoken for.. reserved.
So I always print out these signs and hang them on the front gate. Right now there are 2 of them.

A lady was just blowing here horn like a mad woman. I walked 1 acre to to gate. "I need 3 dozen eggs please"..:th
Question is, do I have enough signs or not?

I would tell her, that I will bring her the eggs promptly, go and let her wait, never coming back.
