I have one due this week then starting Feb 12 (CAE doe bottle kids) 2/14, 2/15 and I have a bunch due including all my meat does and half my dairy due by the end of the month. Two March 7, one at the end of March, one the first of April and two young ones due May and June.
My bottle kids from the show farm are due 1/23 and 2/1.
What about you?

Nice. Mine are due in March and April, I don't have the exact dates in front of me.

@mlm Mike I had a kid born this morning real feel right now is 8°. I dried him off before I left for work, but the first time doe did not go immediately back to him. If even if she goes back to him will he survive these temperatures or do I need to try to get him some heat somehow? (Send a friend)

I would have a friend check on him, if you can. Are they inside in a kidding pen? I've never had a doe not be all over her kids.

I don't know. Two hundred plus maybe.
gadzooks thats a big goat! lol

They are not really a small as they look, she's just that big in the body.
she looks very stout

Well, this wet spell rain to snow followed by the brutal cold is going to cost my rooster that points on his comb. :(
:hugs its probably a good thing really, he'll be less prone to frostbite next year

i had mt better FBCM get frostbite when we had that crazy tempo spike. didnt think much about it bet i think the metal roof on the coop got condensation on it and caused him to get frost bite. oh well

Hold on, then, 'til I can grab another stirrin' stick.
I miss Chaos; he's a champeen pot stirrer.
lol, he certainly liked to help

4 one day, 2 the next, then 0. got 2 today, though. Probably frozen, though shell intact.
can you still eat frozen eggs?

Big ol' storm came in, big enough that it actually triggered our national weather alert system. Dogs don't even want to go outside because of the wind and the birds are hiding in the coop to avoid being blown away.
:hugs stay safe!
