For those who are interested, he is a good strong boy. Gwen is doing great. I snapped this right before I secured the barrel and put out straw.View attachment 1240315

Warming up here. Heading to above freezing over the next few days.
Yay no more coats.
Took the day off yesterday to work in crap.... septic tank troubles. Helping the guy that was here working on it.

LOL, would have been a fun video to share! Why is it that our video cameras seem to get the smallest moves ever, but when something out of the ordinary, they catch nothing. This morning, I let the broody and babies out. The mom walked down the ramp, all but 3 of the babies followed. Of the 3 up top, one of the 55s had poopy butt. I grabbed her and she SQUEALED!!! Before I could move, mom came FLYING back into the coop and attacked the crap out of me. I slammed the door in her face, washed off baby and went to put her back in and mom attacked me again. There is a camera in that coop and neither attack triggered a video. But, if mom moves her head 1/2 inch at night, well, that triggers a video....go figure.
Thank. Yes, just look at the 55 gallons drum behind her
He is wearing a 14" coat.
Have a great night. I am exhausted.
that is unfortunate, hoping it gets worked out fairly easilyYay no more coats.

Thanks, though this morning is silly guy was sleeping on the opposite side of the Shed from the barrel. Go figure you can provide it but you can't make him use it. Other than putting them in at the first time so they can get the idea.I'm glad he's doing good.
