They help themselves to any gut pile I have from processing deer.
Toss it into the pen & leave it for a couple days; you'll find out. You can always toss it to the buzzards if the chickens don't clean it up.

I thought they might be tempted by it seeing how my Rhode Island Red took out a mouse like it was nothing.

I have a bunch of extra cranberries after using them for salads and such, but not enough to make jam or anything. I wonder if you could do something besides bread like maybe a cranberry crisp? Any suggestions?

Have any of you ever tried growing like really short grass, sprouts and stuff for your chickens like I've seen some people do for winter time?

Nice thought, buy my 8 cups wouldn't make enough juice to be the worth the hassle, that'd be a waste.
