When I lived in Samoa there was a world cup rugby match with NZ and we saw the HAKA live - THAT was AMAZING!!!

Hey!
So, I did a quick candle a few minutes ago, and 5/14 are showing positive signs. Not great... but 1 of those looks a lot more developed than the others. Maybe there are hot spots? There shouldn’t be because it is forced air. I’m not sure what is going on. It has been running at a pretty steady 99.5, but they all look more developed than I thought they would on day 6. The veins on all of them completely cover the inside of the egg, but more so on one in particular. Hopefully it’s just me being the paranoid person I am

You should rotate the eggs every couple of days.

Wow lots of questions. I’ll venture a few.

We’re the eggs old? Same ages? Did they get cold before collecting? Were they shipped? Was the thermometer calibrated? Do you have a hydrometer was it calibrated? You mentioned 99.5 was that top of egg? My personal preference is to run temps higher by one degree, but the thermometer must be calibrated.

The eggs were at the most 6 days old.
They range from 6 days to 0 days old.
They might have gotten cold, but most of them were collected while still warm.
They were from my flock
I have 3 thermometers. One that came with the incubator, at top of eggs. One meat thermometer that is at top of eggs and one digital acu-rite thermometer/ hydrometer.
All thermometers are calibrated and triple tested and so was the hydrometer.

Had a little

used wheat and sunflower seeds, sunflowers held water better than wheat. I have a 20’ rack I had them on and two buckets, first day they sat in water, the second day the moved to the second bucket which had holes to drain, on the third day they moved to flats. The flats that come under nine or six pack plant pots work really well for that, they’re sectioned and have holes already. We’d water the seeds three times a day (or more depending on the weather.) the pigs got them at 7 days and the chickens at about 5 Days. As I added more flats I’d push the older ones down so that the oldest were at one end and Althea newest at the other end. It worked pretty well

Rotate as in move them around the incubator? I put the more developed one more torwards the edge to see if it helps.
