EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I have to go spend a large portion of the day in the woods, splitting, loading, and probably delivering wood for some of the members of DW's church who can't afford it. There's a better than average chance of rain, so I don't know how much we'll get done, but BIL drafted me, & I told him I'd be there. Already regretting it.
I won't fish in the rain; I sure don't want to be screwing around with wood in the rain.
I hope said people who can't afford to buy wood are helping you if they are fit and able

But let all the chemicals ventilate out before putting in eggs.
The TTL(time to live) of the fungicide should not be more than a day. I would try the spray--beats having to take the top apart which is a booger!

You might also be able to air dust and put the top in the sun for an afternoon. Do you have sun down in Sunny California today?

More grain this week. New Years chicks and Silveruud will need moved. Grow out pen will be thinned today to make room.
Several vultures eyeing the possum. Hawk was in trees next to coop yesterday. Here’s picture of it flying away. That tree btw was the former owners Christmas tree 40years ago. It’s one of three he planted on top of the septic field.

That looks more like a Christmas bush, a very large bush
One of our first Christmas trees since moving here has been in the yard for roughly 43 years; probably 60' by now.
I'll bet his septic line is half-clogged with roots.

Actually, I was misinformed. While we've cut & delivered plenty of wood to those in need before, the list has been depleted, for now. We filled 4.5 trucks (my Dakota only counts as half a truck) plus a trailer, and it all went home with us. There's probably enough still there to fill all those same trucks 5-6 more times; maybe more. And none of it had been cut beforehand as we were told it would be, so I had neither of my saws. Going back in 2 weeks to do it all over again.

I'm amazed at your self control. The Whites of a year or two ago would have been all over that like a chook on a mealworm.
Well, don't give me too many flowers. I fought really, really hard with myself not to say "I'll just bet you do", but I guess I just did, anyway. ;)

I edited the picture all you see is the top 20 feet or so. And yes the septic had to be redone. It was
a stinking expensive Christmas tree.

Opened up my Brinsea Octagon and it smells of mold and had mold on the tray.. I've used oxide on it, but I think there is mold in the fan. Any ideas on how to kill mold inside the cover of an octagon?
Ultraviolet light or a can of "damp rid".
