It’s a chance, but not a guaranteed bad idea. I’ve done it.

If you can protect them with a divider that might work. Otherwise I wouldn’t.

I've done it. Worked fine. If possible, waiting until the day-olds are about three days old helps give them a bit of speed and resilience.

Don't believe I would. The little guys wouldn't be able to defend themselves, and the "big bullies" would probably peck them to death.

I don't have any pictures of when they were first introduced, but the little guys in this picture were put in at about ~3 days old. Maybe a week, I'm not sure—it's been two years since the photo. You can see there's quite the size difference.

I have some in a grow out that are 4 week apart. .... I didn't put them together till the young ones were about 4 weeks old though
