I am setting tomorrow. I set a different hygrometer in there and it said 11%. I am so confused...

One of them's obviously wrong. I don't remember the exact procedure, but there should be directions at the beginning of this thread on how to calibrate them. If you need help after reading them, either of these fine ladies should be able to help you:

The hygrometer I thought said 11% actually said LL%, which I think means 'too low to read'?

Something you may want to consider in your greenhouse is an automatic vent. This one operates on a gas piston and temperature. No electricity needed.

I do have a question though....

How do you lower the humidity on the bator? I am wanting the humidity to be at 45% until lockdown, but it is currently at a steady 50%.

Less water surface.
