Who CARES what they want? It was their property that killed your property, ON your property.Small Claims Court

I don't know that it's worth the trouble, yet. I mean if they start killing off my goats, or my pet pig, or something that I can 100% prove how much they owe me...... small claims court over a dozen chickens isn't worth it........ if they get my pig. it was 500 in vet bills to get her spayed, and I can prove that, plus pot bellied pigs from a breeder run 800-3000 a pig...... so if they were to kill Sara. I'd definitely charge them for that.

If they start killing my geese, I'd probably also have a problem with it, my sebastapol geese were 80 dollars a chick, and now that they are an adult, mated pair that just started laying, they are worth like 500 dollars.

My Boer doe is huge too, but poor Dragonfly is so uncomfortable. She is known for having triplets or quads.

Update on the eggs from my two hens my daughter hoped would hatch after they were killed. Neither were fertile or had any development after a few days in the incubator

Yep, just set up kidding pens.

Well I'm glad you got yours up and ready I got myself finished on that extension in the barn I was working on last fall in time for my kidding which was great.
And I agree it's really hard to tell anything from pictures can't put your hands on them.

So sorry I know a bit how you feel in a way. I did not collect my buck last fall thinking I had lots of time because he was young and unproven even though I really thought he had potential and he did really well in his classes. Next time I won't wait.
