We don’t have any wind. It’s 68*, and we’re done with chores. I seriously wish I could work on the run, but the midget isn’t cooperating enough to do it safely.

I wish I could do some stuff at home today! Beautiful week, but Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be much colder. Even 27° Sunday night. These repeated hard freezes with 60's&70's in between are killing plants and hard on my kids. Then back to nice weather for the work week

Came close to freezing here as well. Did not cover any plants.

@Sally Sunshine I took a few pictures of my Marans pullets and cockerels for you. The pullets are nicely colored but the cockerels are overdone lol.

She is the only one in the group that has this mutation. The GI-gore counter isn't reading any dangerous levels of radiation anymore. It's safe to hold her now without wearing a suit.

I was just telling Duckling that it’s supposed to snow Monday, and that I’ve seen many years where it snowed a couple feet in late April.
I’m relieved that shorts she was too chunky for in the past fit her now. Even two years ago, she could not fit into size 5 jeans/jean shorts. I was right to keep them.

Oh yeah, we get snows in April even here occasionally it's just a pain for the growing season to keep getting these warm days and then hit 27 like we're supposed to Sunday night.

Just under 16 hours of smoking at a low temp. Got to bed around 3 am. Our refrigerator reeks. You can smell the refrigerator with the doors closed. I wonder what is for supper tonight? Maybe McDonald's?
