There! Cute little duckling with a chick on its back.
Free range isn’t free. It’s a good way to get rid of the weak and feeble though. So no I don’t free range. I used to.
My ducks are in a fenced area with bare ground housing in the spring to autumn.

A full-grown wood splitter, all 500 lb. of it, took up residence in the bed of my truck yesterday afternoon, and there it will stay 'til I get some help from a hoist. I was expecting it to be assembled, so I could pull it home with the truck; sure wasn't prepared for a crate. How the H3LL is the customer supposed to handle something that bulky & heavy if he doesn't have access to a hoist? Didn't used to be that way. It's like the semi driver said, "Companies charge more & more & do less & less". For $900 I'd think they'd at least assemble it where they have the equipment.

The world is going to H in a handbasket. And common sense isn't common anymore.

I'm glad I'm not a vampire so I have to live through this for the next however many centuries. I keep hoping things are going to turn around. :fl

If we lived close to you, we'd come over with the pallet forks on our tractor, lift it out and move it where you wanted it. ;)

I appreciate that, but I just took the top off the crate, and guess what! No assembly instructions!

I can get the crate off the truck with a chain hoist & heavy enough straps (if I can rig a center point to lift from), but that won't get the dame thing put together. I should've paid the extra $100 + tax for the identical machine @ Lowes, already assembled. You can believe if I'd known it wasn't assembled I'd never have bought it.

No assembly instructions? The business should be able to obtain those.
Still an extra pain. :barnie

Dh feels the same way. He wants it already assembled as well. When the business offered to assemble to two coops I wanted last year...he was saying YES! before I finished the sentence...lol.

Ebay seller. I should've known better.
